WAHMCart Shopping Cart System Review

wahmcart

Wahmcart is a shopping cart priced for the work at home mom budget in mind. It is a fully functioning shopping cart, autoresponder, broadcast and affiliate management system. For $30/month that is a lot of features.

When you first log in to WAHMCart you’ll see the following screen:

Now the overall WAHMCart look is not overly sophisticated but it does have a lot of functions for the price. You could easily compare it to 1 Shopping Cart in terms of functions. WAHMCart includes all the same functions as one shopping carts premium feature, the one priced at $100 per month. These features include:

  • Autoresponder system
  • Broadcast system
  • HTML newsletter/message functions
  • Statistics
  • Ad Tracking
  • Completely customizable Shopping Cart
  • Affiliate Management System
  • Affiliate Tracking
  • Affiliate Area

I often recommend WAHMCart to my clients and newsletter subscribers. It’s the best option for those who can’t afford to spend $100 per month for a full system yet.

So what can you do with all these features and functions?

You can:

  • Start your mailing list!
  • Send out monthly, weekly or bi-monthly newsletters
  • Sell information products or services through a shopping cart
  • Set up an affiliate program for your products or services and build a sales team willing to promote you for free!

One of my favorite features of WAHMCart is that you can customize each salespage. This is very handy if you have different websites but want a customized cart for each site. You can see an example of what I mean here:

StarVA Order Form
Article Mojo Order Form

Both of the forms above were created with WAHMCart but they are customized to match the website they are part of.

Another great feature of WAHMCart is the affiliate area. With just a few clicks you can get your site ready to accept affiliates and start building a sales team that is ready and willing to promote YOU for free!

Of course, the system isn’t perfect and one of the things I’m not fond of is the layout. To me it seems fairly amature looking and I think it could use some updating so that there is a logout link (right now to log out you need to just close the browser).

I’m also not a big fan of the email autoresponder/broadcast system. One of the biggest things this is missing is the ability to see if your messages were actually sent and tracking how many were opened. Both Aweber and 1ShoppingCart do this automatically when you send out a message.

Overall WAHMCart is an excellent full featured program for someone who wants to sell products or services online and get an affiliate program up and running quick! I highly recommend them and of course as mentioned in this post I use WAHMCart myself for a couple of websites.

Review of the 8 Fold Path To Affiliate Profits by Bob Jenkins

Product: 8 Fold Path to Affiliate Profits

Creator: Bob Jenkins

8 fold path

I have been a Bob The Teacher (Bob Jenkins) fan for a while. His materials are usually very well laid out and easy to understand — I think that’s because of his high school teaching background. I also have been doing more and more affiliate marketing and management for my virtual assistance clients, so when he unveiled is new affiliate marketing course — The Eight Fold Path- I signed up.

The Eight-Fold path is a step by step process for building your Internet Marketing background beginning as an affiliate for other people’s products to build your list and develop your reputation as an expert in your niche. If you follow the steps and do your homework each week, at the end of 8 weeks, you would have the whole basic set-up (autoresponder, squeeze page, traffic generation tools, special report) for your first big affiliate product launch.
Who Should Follow the 8 Fold Path?

This program is aimed at beginners. People with more experience can benefit from some of the information that Bob provides, but the goal is really to get your first affiliate promotion up the web. That being said, I think you need to have a tiny bit of web experience. Some of the members of the class seemed to struggle with setting up autoresponders, squeeze pages, etc.

Key Features of the 8 Fold Path Multimedia Course

Bob the Teacher provides very good value in the multimedia course. I can tell that he truly wants to teach you his information.

  • Eight Fold Path Transcripts and Audio This is the core of the course. There are 8 sessions and each session lasted for at least 90 minutes. There is a lot of information packed into these lessons.
  • Bonus Audios and Videos- There are quite a few bonus videos and audios included in the course that are very useful.
  • Additional Resources - Bob is very well connected in the Internet Marketing World and offers some good discounts on cool affiliate marketing and web development resources to his students.

Some Things I Don’t Like

Here are the things that I think could be improved:

  • Most people can’t keep up with the homework. If you take the class live, that is a problem. Many times I would have my items done but nobody would review them. Of course, this is less of a problem with the home study course.
  • A lot of the instruction centers around using other paid products. I know that they are good and probably helpful — but not everyone can buy all of it.

Since taking the course, I’ve created my first e-book and I’m starting to give it away. I wouldn’t have done that without working through the steps in the 8 Fold Path. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants clear direction on how to get started in Internet Marketing.

Insider’s Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet - Product Review

October 12, 2007 · Filed Under Internet Marketing, Products - Physical · Comment

This was really the first internet marketing product I can remember spending my money on.

I so clearly remember thinking after I got it about how I was going to make lots of money just by following what the manual says.

The version I have in front of me, 2005, has 969 pages of internet marketing advice, tips, tricks and steps. It actually gives you 12 Steps (like chapters) to follow that guide you from beginning to end in setting up your online empire. The steps are great because you can skip through a section you already know, or skip to a section you’d like to learn about first without feeling lost at all.

This course has been selling for over 10 years, which says a lot about the course.

There is a lot of information about internet marketing that I just automatically know, and I think that is a result of having this much information at my fingertips whenever I need it. It is great to have a binder that you can just run and grab whenever you are feeling stuck on something or want a new idea for marketing - this course really helps with that.

I’ve taken some time in the last few days to go back over the lessons and have come up with a lot of new ideas and plans for my existing business. One of the great things about the advice that the Internet Marketing Center offers is that they are so large they can do a lot of testing smaller companies just can’t do. This means they can find out things that we just have no way of testing. An example of this is the use of someone’s name in the title and body of an email. The IMC did testing on this and share those results and more like them in the course.

Here are the steps to go through in the edition I have:

Step 1 - Decide What You’ll Sell

Step 2 - Design and Build a Website That Sells

Step 3 - Prepare Killer Salescopy

Step 4 - Set up an Automated Ordering System

Step 5 - Build a Massive Opt-in List

Step 6 - Get Ranked at the Top of the Search Engines

Step 7 - Cheap Traffic

Step 8 - Email Promotions

Step 9 - Lifetime Value of Customers

Step 10 - Testing, Tracking & Surveying

Step 11 - Affiliate Programs

Step 12 - Advanced Strategies

Now of course these steps have most likely changed since the 2005 version I have but there is a lot of great information in these binders.

Seriously, though, this manual didn’t make me rich like I might be inclined to think from reading the salespage (which I did over and over and over back in 2005).

I also think that this much information might just be too much, for me anyway. I’m the kind of person who learns by applying and though you are told not to try and site down and read the whole thing at once it’s hard to feel like you shouldn’t absorb all the information in the 2 thick binders before really getting started. This might lead to ‘analysis paralysis’ for some people.

Overall, this is a great program for someone getting started in Internet Marketing but also a great way to be reminded of the basics for someone who’s been doing marketing a long time.
